Preston's Pantry

Lift Urban Portland runs a food pantry affiliated with the Oregon Food Bank network of providers.

Tuesdays and Fridays, noon to 2:00 p.m. (wheelchair accessible)
Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (NOT wheelchair accessible)

Lottery takes place 5 minutes before opening to determine your place in line.

The pantry is served by TriMet bus lines #15, 18, 20, and 77, and the Portland Streetcar.


Pantry visitors may visit our shopping-style pantry once a month and select from fresh produce, yogurt and dairy, dry and canned goods, meat, and eggs. Recipients must be within eligible income guidelines, and live in our service area (see map below.) Proof of residency is required (rent receipt, utility bill, ID card, etc.)

You will leave with about three grocery bags of food. Please bring your own bags or box and be prepared to transport the groceries home.

Lift Urban Portland serves the Northwest Portland neighborhood, as well as a portion of Downtown Portland.

Harvest Share

Second Wednesday of each month
8:30am-9am: Free coffee & tea, Receive lottery number for place in line

9am-10am: Produce distribution

The Harvest Share program provides fresh produce from the Oregon Food Bank. Harvest Share is open to everybody regardless of where you live and does not count as your once-a-month food pantry visit.
