Adopt-a-Highrise Program

The member congregations of Lift Urban Portland "adopt" apartment buildings that house many elderly, disabled and low-income residents. Volunteers host group activities, which build community and individual relationships, and provide outreach and education about Lift Urban Portland's programs.

Events can also be organized by individuals, a class, or by a team from a local business. If you would like to host a game night, serve a spaghetti dinner, teach a craft class, or another activity that promotes education or community connections, call our Volunteer Program Manager at 503-221-1224, ext. 105.
